Hi, My truck just recently started to vibrate like it is going over rumble strips. It only happens over 40MPH and sporadically. It seems to happen when I’m just giving enough gas to maintain speed. Once it starts if I let off the gas or give it more gas it goes away. It reoccurs anywhere from 20 seconds up to a few minutes. I’m afraid my tire is going to fly …

I have a 2009 Acadia with about 150,000 on it, that I have been having problems when accelerating it having a hesitation/stuttering problem. The items that have been done: Safety bulletin for timing. Bank 2 O2’s.Check the oil level, if low- bring it up to proper level. Or change oil. There are posts about members getting noise only when turning left (and I think lower speeds). Nov 25, 2019 · Clunks usually mean a mount is not tightened or broken. Could be motor mount, suspension bushing, etc. One way to check for motor mount is to put it in gear, press hard on the brake, and hit the gas. If it clunks, then your motor mounts need replaced. Little friendly tip for ya. Dustin, when accelerating the air is sucked into the TB through the air filter, MAF and the air box. Check for any obstructions/dirt in any of these areas and while in there clean the MAF too with MAF cleaner. Check all vacuum hoses for pin hole leaks too.
