I quite regually get asked about X guild mebers (or current) by guilds they are appling to. YES! If you are not happy with your guild, you should feel no obligation to stay. All the officers from my last guild agreed we had to leave because the GM was an absolute idiot. He wouldn't level (all the officers were 60, he was 55), he wouldn't pvp, his roleplay was atrocious. And he was an asshole to everyone.

To leave a Guild in SWTOR, you only need a simple command. Simply type the command "/gquit" without the quotation marks. You want to disband a whole Guild, with the appropriate permissions is also possible. You can use the command "/gdisban".
