You can absolutely bring the troupe back with the online save editor, although if you miss some variables you get a nice invisible tent for him. Still works, though. Grimm ritual will just consume whatever remains of Hallownest (which could be saved considering Radiance is defeated/sealed by the Knight) and the Grimm Troupe is slaves to the Nightmare Heart. Gameplay wise, neither Grimmchild or Carefree Melody are that good imo.
Unless you want Grimmchild there's no real reason to not banish. Beating nkg is more fun but banishing gives a better charm. I banished him in my first playthrough. Banish because story‐wise it is the good ending for The Troupe,and you can fight NKG in Godhome anyways so you are not missing out on anything.
Not really. You'll just get a different charm than if you do the ritual and will have to get to Godhome if you want to fight NKG. As long as the troupe is there you can get the unbreakable charms, but if you banish them without paying Divine to have them all chanted to unbreakable you've lost your chance.If you choose to follow this video and NOT banish the Grimm Troupe (skip 09:49 to 11:24), you will have the opportunity to fight the Nightmare King Grimm. It is a difficult fight, but very fun (see Nightmare King Grimm video). Doing this will allow you to keep the Grimmchild charm and the opportunity to unlock the Ritual achievement.

Also, fragile charms don't break if you die inside dream battles. Since Divine shows up with the troupe, her being banished with the troupe is pretty obvious imo. She's part of the troupe, if you choose to banish them, she's banished. It also doesn't really affect gameplay much I'd say.

Banishing after upgrading your fragile charms is the best and easiest option. You get to fight NKG anyway so there's literally no reason to fight him now. The second ending though allows you to fight a new boss, which in my opinion is the better choice.
