G2C vs G2S. I’m in the market for the G2C. I’ve also been looking at the G2S as well. A lot of people say don’t bother with the G2S, because the C is not that much wider and you get 5 extra rounds. With that said, I’m currently carrying the TCP. I don’t want to go any wider than I have to ( I’m not a svelt guy).Apr 14, 2023 · It's worth noting the extended 9mm magazines for the G2C & G3C show they're interchangeable despite different part numbers for the 12 round magazines. Maybe I'll have to wait until Taurus offers an extended capacity magazine (if ever) for the G3C 40 S&W to know.

Both are nearly identical in size. The G3C is slightly longer (about 1/8”) and slightly taller. I believe the G3C only comes in 9mm and allegedly has a better trigger without the long first strike take up of the G2C. They both have the same mag capacity of 13 rounds in 9mm.I use the Federal Punch 9mm in my G2C I carry. I also run the Federal Punch in my G2C and G3C. Never an issue.
