So the exosuit tech slots limit is currently at 14 slots and is shown as a 2x7 in game. It seems every other vehicle and items with slots (except for exocraft) can have their slots exceed the in-game limit by changing the indices, height and width values to the max (48 slots), but the exosuit and exocrafts are tricky. I have 60 hours on the game and have completed the main story but I can’t seem to find out how you get more technology slots for your exosuit.
