Magus needs to be a 50/50 blend, which is impossible to do right now in PF2, so I think it will fill a nice niche. I suspect it will be the first class to get partial caster progression baseline, which will be like a dedication caster progression but slightly better. targeted icon is not damaged only selected icon is damaged. This is the inherent sheet owner security model of Foundry that PF2e inherits. So it is a UX issue that the player thinks the targeting icon will be damaged from selected icons attack because that makes actual sense (and how other systems have done it), but it is the target owner that has to click damage not the selected attacker.
