Subaru outback driver window reset.
The passenger side window and now the driver side window are being difficult on the 2015 3.6r. When I press the auto-up button they go up and then about 1 cm from the top they both come back to about half open. The auto-up button is pretty much worthless on the passenger side. I have to move the window up inch by inch for it to close.

Dec 14, 2022 · So until the passenger window is "reset" such that the computer knows the difference between real obstruction and something in the way before the window is supposed to reach it's limit, it will not let the driver control it. I'm not saying this is an ideal way of handling this, but this could explain it.

2018 outback all 3 passenger windows quit working after very few uses. You have to reset the auto up/down for each of those windows individually. My passenger window will not roll up on a Subaru outback 2016, neither passenger or the driver side control switch are not working. I tried to reset it and it’s still not working. I’m thinking my motor is blown. Or a fuse, but if a fuse is blown, wouldn’t that affect all my windows?

Using the FRONT PASSENGER DOOR window switch, roll the passenger window down completely, hold it for 5 seconds, then roll it all the way back up, hold again for 5 seconds then release. The drivers window just started acting up regularly and the passenger occasionally, but it is not used as often.
