What happened to you could happen to anyone. Like the other commenter mentioned this was likely not the shopper you saw on your account. It was likely a phishing scam where a scammer gained access to the shoppers account. I personally think that it's wrong to allow a shopper to add that much without the customer manually approving it in real time.

Well there's one strange thing about this scam this time that's different than the others. They spoofed Instacarts actual number! That number -8882467822- is actually Instacarts number. Back in the day we dealt with IC via phone and I've always kept the number in my contacts. And that's it.
