Fisher plow no power to controller
Need help no power to fisher plow controller on a 2009 ford F250, 3 port 3 wire. Bought new controller which did not fix issue. When controller is plugged in to harness I lose 12v at the twin 10a fuses/power into module. so i thought the controller was shorting something out in the module. Checked power/gnd at 6 pin and all good when not connected.I have a Fisher SD Series 6'9" plow mounted to my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I'll go into further details below, but basically my problem is that when I try to raise my plow, it angles left instead. When I press left or right it functions normally. In the past, I've had issues with this plow where the blade will raise a few inches and then fall back ...I have a Fisher 8' Minute Mount straight blade. It was running fine, then after dropping the plow several hours into the storm - the plow would no longer raise, go right, or go left. There was nothing leading up to this. It just shut down. If it spins the motor is good. Then check the solenoid for power switching. You should hear a click when engaging up/left or right ( shut the truck off but turn the key on. Turn the radio down and the heater off.
