The Aserai infantry is at about the same level while the Battania spearmen are a little behind, the rest just get crushed in infantry vs infantry battles. Just run a custom battle, 100 vs 100 and you'll see the Khuzaits and the Aserai are top tier in melee vs melee. I wanted to test the Wildings too but its not possible to select them in custom.

I like to have a mix of everything. Infantry, archers, horse archers and cavalry. I find a hill and place archers with infantry in the foot of the hill in front. Then i go with the MAs and and cavalry to harras and kill their mounted units. If their footsoldiers wont move, I harras them with MA untill they rush my infantry and then sandwich them.

Thanks! I think the sturgians are the best shield guys, vlandia has the best cavalry/ crossbowman, khuzaits with the mounted archers, Battanians are best archers. But that’s just my opinion.
