Exotics quests are easy if you collect ahead of time. Once you get a request, everything stops spawning, except maybe 1 of each item and you have to look thru hell and high water for it. Plumes, for example, I collect all thru chapters 2 & 3, when those damn egrets, herons, and spoonbills are everywhere. Orchids I collect as I hunt.Unless anyone has a better suggestion, I'd advise you to reload a previous safe file. Best way is like Mojo said to start collecting those exotics earlier in chapter 2 as soon as you can free roam cause sometimes spawns have been bugged so some exotics are veeery hard to get to spawn when you start the quest.
