There is a TSB on the 2013-2018 F150 for noise from the IWE in 4WD mode. Here it is: Ford TSB Apparently, there's even communication to dealers about this IWE problem for newer 2019-2020 F150s. It's on the NHTSA website under issue # 10172986.
