Jul 25, 2011 · I have the same problem. Replaced the overflow cup and solved the problem so far. Only 2 days ago. Today I parked at the Flying Jay, Mississauga, Ontario and found another 2 Volvo d13 running the coolant all over the floor. No more Volvo for me. Checked the air that makes the pressure in the coolant system, it is not combustion gas, which is a good thing , changed the blue cap from the coolant reservoir and still doing the same. Now i guess the air compressor goes bad, so i will change that tomorrow and hopefully problem will be solved.2006 volvo vnl with Cummins isx. Truck will build air fine to about 60psi.
